TNTR & CUTRS
Tuesday Night Trail Runs were started in 2012 by Mike Diesburg and evolved out of a desire to build a community of runners focused on enjoying the camaraderie of each other through the hosting of weekly runs on trails in the Casper area.
-They are "no drop" casual paced runs, meaning the group takes frequent stops allowing time for recovery and socializing before continuing. The last thing we want is for anyone to feel intimidated or apprehensive about running with "faster" runners.
-Regardless of where you are at in your running journey, we want you to come and bring your friends.
-We meet at our growing network of trails around Casper and run for 4-6 miles or roughly 1 hour, starting at 6PM.
- TNTR's typically start in April and run, weather permitting through early November.
-The runs are always led by experienced runners who know the trails and embrace the purpose of TNTR's, community and camaraderie
The Casper Ultra Trail Running Society was started by Jason Neville in 2016. Building community was the main intent that CUTRS was centered on and continues to be the focus that WYRun hopes to build upon with events like TNTR's, movie nights, weekend group runs, races, and whatever else you feel can help the running community to grow. Please don't hesitate to reach out with ideas.
